  • Reliable Magnetic Transmission
Utilizes a permanent magnetic system to transmit readings accurately, ensuring dependable performance even in extreme environments where traditional methods may fail.
  • Customizable Features for Specialized Applications
The BGF meter offers optional enhancements, such as a magnetic coupling for hazardous areas and customizable connections, making it adaptable for a wide range of industrial processes.

Measuring Process of the BGF Flow Meter

The BGF meter operates using the principle of variable area flow measurement, which is explained as follows:

  • Flow Interaction
As the fluid enters the meter, it passes through a tube that contains a conical float and a compression spring. The flow rate determines the float’s movement along the tube, which can be positioned either vertically or horizontally.
  • Float Movement
The float moves in response to the force exerted by the fluid. As the flow rate increases, the float shifts further along the tube. If the flow rate decreases, the float returns to its original position due to the spring mechanism. The float stabilizes at a point where its weight is balanced by the flow force.
  • Flow Rate Indication
The float’s balanced position corresponds to a specific flow rate, which is transmitted via a magnetic coupling to a display. The display, with a calibrated 90° scale, provides an accurate, easy-to-read measurement.

Benefits of the BGF All-Metal Variable Area Flow Mete

Benefits of the BGF All-Metal Variable Area Flow Meter

Built to last, the all-metal construction reduces maintenance needs and supports extended service life, especially in high-demand environments.
  • High Measurement Accuracy
Designed for precision, the BGF provides accurate readings, which are critical in industries where slight deviations can impact production and safety.
  • Application Flexibility
The BGF’s versatile design enables it to measure a range of fluids and gases, making it a practical solution across multiple industrial sectors.
  • Resilience in Extreme Conditions
Capable of handling high temperatures and pressures, the BGF meter maintains performance in environments that challenge other meters.
  • Enhanced Process Control
With electrical integration, the BGF meter allows for real-time monitoring and remote adjustments, promoting process efficiency and improved operational safety.

Installation and Operational Details

  • Installation
The BGF flow meter can be installed vertically or horizontally, depending on the pipeline configuration. For best accuracy, it should be installed in a section of the pipeline with stable flow, free of turbulence.
  • Maintenance
Thanks to its durable construction, the BGF requires minimal upkeep. Regular inspections are recommended to ensure the float moves freely and there are no obstructions in the tube.
  • Operation in Extreme Conditions
In high-temperature applications, an optional heating jacket helps maintain fluid within the appropriate range for accurate measurements. The all-metal construction provides additional reliability in high-pressure settings, ensuring leak-proof operation under tough conditions.
  • Optional Enhancements
Optional features such as a magnetic coupling for hazardous environments and customized connections make the BGF adaptable for specialized industrial applications, ensuring safe and efficient operation in even the most challenging conditions.
